Three Generations of Family Trust
In the late 1940s, at just 17 years old, Paul O. “Tippy” Rarick founded a coal delivery business in the heart of Pennsylvania's anthracite region. What began as a young man's determination to serve his community grew into a legacy that has endured for over 75 years.
Paul operated the business for more than 65 years, building a reputation for honest service and fair prices. When it came time to pass the torch, his son Tyrone B. Rarick and grandson Tyrone stepped up to carry on the family tradition.
Today, Rarick's Coal, Fuel Oil & Propane, Inc. continues to serve the Tamaqua area and Schuylkill County with the same values Paul instilled from the very beginning: reliability, integrity, and a genuine care for every customer.
